Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 may have come out on top at The Game Awards this year, but the 2025 Steam Awards were all about Team Cherry’s critical hit and fan-favorite followup, Hollow Knight: Silksong. The side-scrolling sequel took home two of the 11 awards, including Game of the Year and the equally appropriate “Best Game You Suck at” award.
This comes not from the folks at Steam themselves, but from users who made their voices heard. 43.8 million votes were cast across the categories according to Steam, and while it didn’t sweep, they didn’t totally ignore Kepler Interactive’s beloved Clair Obscur. The turn-based RPG took home the award for Best Soundtrack this year.
