In addition to the trailer and plans for the beta, which will launch “soon,” a full voiceover has been confirmed. So far the lead cast includes Nanahira as Qtie and Haruko Momoi as Yunyun.
Here’s the game’s official description:
Nothing like a little bit of anonymous online slopposting to destress from the day’s troubles. However, Qtie’s preferred escape from reality has morphed her into a full-blown recluse who dissociates to the tunes of brainrot pop.
Her unhinged posting habits are all to capture the attention of “Yunyun” — an online personality who might be a figment of Qtie’s imagination. But you know what they say: “better to have loved and lost your mind than to have never loved at all”. That’s how the saying goes, right?
Crank up the volume and spread the love of Yunyun all over the internet to the tunes of 30+ hypnotic denpa songs. Convince other chronically online web users to become fellow fans by pushing positive posts across social media, and clack out counterarguments against Yunyun’s biggest online haters.
The next stop for Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis is Tokyo Game Show from September 25-28, where it will be playable. In the meantime, it’s currently available to wishlist on Steam.
