Since launching on PC back in March, console players of Rain World have been waiting patiently for The Watcher DLC. A date is finally in place now, and it’s right around the corner.
The Watcher hits PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on September 25. That’s not all that’s going live on that day, either. The 1.5 content update adds in over 50 new Arena maps, Arena Mode and Jolly Co-Op support for the DLC, and the addition of Jolly Co-Op for all Downpour campaigns.

The Watcher itself adds a bunch of new regions, along with new creatures, characters, items, mechanics, art, music, and even new paths and endings. It sounds like console players are about to be very busy with more Rain World later this month!
Here’s more on the DLC via the Steam page:
Rain World: The Watcher is a DLC expansion of Rain World. Journey beyond to something, somewhere only ever glimpsed. When the world beneath your feet cracks and crumbles, will you hold on to all you once knew? Or dive into the unknown?
The wilds that await will be unlike all that’s come before.
Unknown creatures stalk and climb and dive and hunt. New breeds rip and pluck and burrow and hide. Predator and prey redefined.
And through the middle of it all, a lonely lost slugcat trying their best to outlast the ravages of a warped world.
