Perfect Tides: Station to Station is the sequel to writer and designer Meredith Gran’s (Octopus Pie) award-winning 2022 point-and-click adventure. Those who have been patiently waiting for more got just that during this week’s Six One Indie 2025 Games Showcase, which served up the unveiling of a brand new gameplay trailer.

Station to Station finds 18-year-old Mara moving away from her hometown island to kick off her dreams of becoming a writer. Thus, she heads to the big city to start college, and players will have to guide her through her tumultuous first year as an adult. Mara will need to learn to both navigate the city itself and the face perils of time management, from fitting in studies to embarking on romantic relationships and honing her writing skills.

Meredith Gran founded independent game studio Three Bees, which released Perfect Tides as its first title three years ago. The indie debut came five years after Gran completed a decade-long run of webcomic Octopus Pie, which I highly recommend. You can read it both online and in print via Image Comics.

When Perfect Tides: Station to Station launches, it will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac via Steam.
