LO, ADVENTURER! That’s how I’d flag you down on a mountain pass to regale you with the latest news about Mythrealm, a medieval fantasy RPG from the devs at Delta Video Game. If ye be so bold, publisher indie.io announced plans to launch the adventure via Steam Early Access on October 27.

In the meantime, you can download a demo on Steam to try it out for yourself ahead of the Early Access debut. Mythrealm will be priced at $14.99, with a 20% launch discount in place for the first two weeks.

In the world of Arloria, the threat of a demonic takeover looms large, and the council of Zelenar mages that would normally vanquish this evil is nowhere to be found. Thus, it’s up to you to take on the role of the heroine Alaris, investigate the disappearances and prevent the destruction of the world.

Along the way you’ll rise from novice mage to powerful sorcerer, returning the world of Arloria to its former glory. The Early Access build of Mythrealm offers the first half of Alaris’s trials, providing plenty of opportunity for player feedback that should lead to a stronger 1.0 down the line.
