The teams at developer ReadGraves and publisher Wired Productions are aiming for the next big party game with the reveal of Task Time. Chaotic, physics-driven and inspired by gameshows, the PvP excitement is on full display in the reveal trailer below.

The initial announcement came during the PC Gaming Show: Tokyo Direct event. The devs include members who previously worked on similarly chaotic outings like Fall Guys and Gang Beasts, and you can certainly see how that experience paid off.
Those who want to try Task Time out for themselves can do so in the first public playtest, which is available now for a limited time on Steam. You can check it out from now until October 1 at 10:00 a.m. BST, providing feedback throughout the process via the official Discord.
Here’s how Wired Productions describes it:
Task Time is built for unpredictable fun. Across six chaotic rounds, Tasklings can complete over 500,000 random task variations. One moment you might be solving puzzles, the next you’re blasting your mates with paintballs or scrambling across a collapsing map as the floor turns to lava.
Whether you win or lose, every match is a story: ridiculous comebacks, glorious failures, and moments of sabotage you’ll be laughing about long after the round ends.
