Edmund McMillen and Florian Himsl first released The Binding of Isaac way back in 2011, which is an eternity in Internet years. The remade version released as The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth in 2014, and now McMillen and Nicalis are bringing the latest expansion to a new platform with a Switch 2 version slated for Q1 2026.
The Switch 2 version of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ will be available both physically and digitally. For those who value actually having the game on the card, which used to be a given but is an ever-increasing rarity with Nintendos’s current console, the physical version thankfully does include it.
