Stormcloud Games previously launched ASCII dungeon crawler Brut@l back in 2016, and now their next game is officially on the horizon. There’s no release date in place yet, but Junkster has been revealed as a 3D action platformer that’s in the works for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam).

UM-13 is a construction bot that just crash-landed on a treacherous junkyard planet. You’ll be tasked with using his robo-wrench to seek out parts to repair his ship while recovering the human artifacts he had aboard as cargo.

In addition to showing off the platforming and combat, Stormcloud touts its unique presentation, which has the game set up as a series of comic books. Each issue also packs in a unique collectible Junkster toy.
