The end is nigh for ANTONBLAST! Summitsphere announced plans to launch the side-scroller’s final update on December 18, bringing with it everything from new bosses to a revamped soundtrack and more.

There’s a lot on the way for this one, as detailed over at the Steam page. Among the highlights are four new bosses from the Demon Corp that are described as smaller-scale fights. There’s also the big boss rush tournament that pits players against all nine of the game’s major boss fights, the timed Lime Trials, Hard Mode, Stage Rush Mode, new achievements, languages, spray cans and trinkets, and even updates to the soundtrack.

In the case of the latter, the new soundtrack “will be wholly replacing the existing tracks in the game.” Sound design overall has been touched up, and as a result the game “won’t be as ear-piercingly loud.” Hey, I thought that was a feature, not a bug!
