Drink up, because the Abbey is finally ready to open its doors. Developer Hammer & Ravens and publisher Shiro Unlimited announced a 1.0 release date for medieval brewery tycoon sim Ale Abbey, which officially leaves Early Access on September 17.

With the 1.0 release comes a bunch of updates, including new monastery tasks, world events and more. Eight new craft styles will also be available to unlock and master when the full version arrives later this month. Don’t take our word for it, though, here’s a proper proclamation:

The 1.0 version of Ale Abbey also adds four untapped markets, including the affluent populace of the grand Capital. Once you master the aforementioned craft styles, you’ll also be able to join in on the Competition League, which awards prizes and special unlockables to the best beers in the land.

Beyond that, there’s a new Contemplarium room, which can be placed in the Abbey to provide a spot for the monks to take a well-deserved break. New furniture and equipment such as Frescos and Cellar dehumidifiers can also be unlocked to give your brewing another boost.

Hammer & Ravens game director Emiliano Pastorelli cited player feedback as a “huge part of this journey” leading from Early Access to 1.0 launch. When Ale Abbey’s full version arrives on September 17, it will be available on Steam with a 35% discount until October 6.
