What could possibly go wrong on a road trip? Long Drive North, an upcoming single- and multiplayer survival game from developer Mindflair Games, aims to answer that very question. We’ll get a chance to find out for ourselves when it launches in Early Access this November.
For those wondering what they’ll be up against on this particular excursion, you can see some quick samples in the new trailer below.

In the brief history of this website to date, this is somehow already the second campervan survival game we’ve covered! This one separates itself from the not-so-crowded pack with up to four-player co-op that lets players explore the harsh American wilderness either by themselves or with a group of likeminded survivors.
According to the devs, Long Drive North takes inspiration from games like The Long Dark (2017, Hinterland Studio), The Long Drive (2019, Genesz) and My Summer Car (2025, Amistech Games). You can see more of the features below while we wait for this one to hit Early Access.
- Drive and maintain your trusty old RV: get hands on and refuel & repair your vehicle
- Survive an unforgiving world: manage your sleep, hunger and thirst levels, scavenge for parts, and hunt for food
- Use recipes and cook to survive
- Explore the wilderness: discover a post-disaster American wilderness, an open world, sandbox environment.
- Play alone or in up to 4 player co-op multiplayer
- Navigate the frontier on-foot and behind the wheel. Can you conquer the wilderness and survive your desperate journey?
Long Drive North is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
