A release date is officially in place for Dicealot, a roguelike dice-builder with medieval charm and plenty of influence from classic dice game Farkle. Publisher Yogscast Games and developer goodviewgames confirmed October 9 launch plans, showing off more dice-rolling action in a new gameplay trailer.

When the dice hit the table next month, you’ll be able to play on Steam, which is currently home to a free demo.

Dice-building is key to success here, as players work on combinations that will edge future rolls in their favor. There’s a risk-reward structure at play, and the pressure only builds as the score continues to skyrocket.

Merchants are available throughout to provide players with Quest and Power Dice, Vassals, and opportunities to boost health and gold reserves. There are seven quests, as well as boss battles, to tackle on your journey to dice supremacy.
