If you’re into rolling the dice with tabletop games, those are the inspiration behind the latest game from Silicon Dreams developer Clockwork Bird. Duskpunk was recently revealed as an RPG that has roots in narrative adventure games like Citizen Sleeper, and it’s currently penciled in for release sometime in Q4 2025.
While we wait for a more concrete date, you can try a demo on the Steam page and check out the announcement trailer below.

As you attempt to make a new start in a war-ravaged world, you’ll be tasked with managing your health and stress levels throughout your time in Dredgeport. Developing new skills, meeting friends and making key choices will determine how your fate and that of the city itself pan out in the long run.
Here’s more on the story and features:
Dredgeport is spiralling out of control. Gangs rule the slums, corruption trumps the law, and corpses of the war-dead are burned daily for fuel. You are an ex-soldier, mistaken for dead and shipped back to Dredgeport for processing. After a narrow escape, you find yourself alone in the guts of the city, with only two things to your name: your life and your sanity. Keeping both will prove a challenge.
Features:
- Choice-driven gameplay inspired by TTRPGs
- A gritty, sprawling Steampunk city to explore
- 2D oil-painting aesthetic, with gorgeous character and background art.
- Fascinating characters with murky motivations
- A branching narrative shaped around your decisions
