The devs at Pebbles Games and PlayTogether Studio are about to embrace the elements in Arctic Drive, a first-person co-op survival road trip game that’s in the works for PC. 

Up to four players can attempt to survive together on this frigid journey, sharing supplies, coordinating roles and keeping everyone alive and healthy along the way way. Routes are procedural, so every run has its own areas of exploration and hazards impeding progress.

Since it’s a survival game at heart, you’ll need to keep track of hunger, thirst and body temperature across your team. Thankfully, it sounds like there are plenty of upgrades to make it all a bit more manageable. You can give everything from your engine and tires to your radio a boost, improving your odds exponentially.

The Pebbles Games and PlayTogether Studio teams hail from Denmark and Canada, so they’re no strangers to the colder elements. According to the press release, they got together to make “the co-op road trip we’ve always wanted to play,” and we’ll get to see how the full game plays out when it launches.

There’s no release date in place at the time of this writing. For now, it’s available to wishlist on Steam.
